Most of all what I do focus on is my work in urban planning at Maat-ontwerpers. Here I can use my designing skills fully and learn so much about the creation of our environment with the amazing team of colleagues on a variety of exciting projects.

Next to it I like to keep myself busy with shorter term creative activities. Between design, art and poetry you can find my work. This way I grew up in a bit melancholic but also shiny bright mountain landscapes of north of Slovakia. There I developed my skills of long observation and immersing myself in to an environment and creation from within based on what is available around.

There my passion for photography started there my love for making emerged and first metaphoric words were written. With my sister* we used to make all presents for birthdays, Christmas or name days ourselves.

On this picture I hold a tiny notebook she made for me after I made a very simple one for our friend Skajka. As a kid I was fascinated by the advanced techniques of Maria`s bookmaking! I didn't dare to use her gift so beautiful was it for me. A bit later it fired up my passion for notebook making. I first collected nice ones and also I didn't dare to use (some of) them. When I went to study architecture where we still made our projects on paper I caught up myself buying much more material than necessary. From this paper collection further notebooks were created. Later I learned more skills thanks to internet and my fresh Italian during my erasmus studies, thanks to short workshop at Slovak bookbinder Lidia Mlichova and thanks to meeting and interaction with other bookbinders.

This is my short story on paper, notebooks and bookbinding. I could write similar ones on dance, architecture, woodworking, passion for wool or illustration, I keep it simple, I keep it open. Let`s see what I do next.
